You can sit on the shore of the Bay of Fundy and watch as the highest tides in the world roll in & out. Although we're almost completely surrounded by ocean, Nova Scotia has many, many beautiful lakes, as well as parks, trails, and seaside villages.
Our summers are very comfortable (seldom extremely hot & humid) with moderate winters (seldom extremely cold), providing a wide range of available outdoor activities all year long.
At the heart of Nova Scotia is the thriving City of Halifax, Atlantic Canada's largest city.
